Application Deployment

After creating an account, a Super Admin can deploy applications to it as needed. This topic outlines the general deployment steps for an account. While the specific Packages and Add Ons may vary by application, the overall process remains the same.

  1. Go to https://ng.uniphore.com/admin and log in as a Super Admin.

  2. From the Super Menu at the top of the screen, use the Partner dropdown to select the partner associated with the account. Then, use the Account dropdown to choose the account where you want to deploy the applications.

  3. Go to Configurations > Configure in the left side menu and click Applications.

  4. Find the application card for the application you want to deploy and click Deploy at the bottom of the card. This opens the Deployment & License Application right-side drawer.

  5. Complete the following:

    1. Packages: Select the package you want to use for the application—this determines which features are enabled. Then, click Next to continue.

    2. Add Ons: Select any add-ons for the application, if applicable, and click Next.

    3. Settings: Determine the following application settings:

      1. Deployment:

Select the Type, Production for customers (Salesforce URL is required when Production is selected), Demo for Sales and Sales Engineering teams, or Test for Developers, Testers, and others.

        Select the Language.

If you're provisioning the application for a customer, enter the Salesforce URL.

      2. License:

Determine the Contract date range by selecting the Start date and the End date of the contract.

Determine the Contract Type, Fixed size where the number of agents and transactions cannot be increased or decreased or Ramp where the number of agents and transactions can be increased upon customer request. In most scenarios, we recommend selecting Ramp.

Determine the License Type, No. agents to base the license on the number of agents or No. of transactions to base the license on the number of transactions.

Enter the Total no. of licenses procured by the customer.

Confirm the above settings and click Next when you are ready.

    4. Notifications: Determine who should receive an email notification once the application has been deployed. This is not a mandatory step so you can click Next to skip or click + Add User to select the Account Administrator(s) to send an email notification to.

To send email notifications to any other (non-admin) users, search for and select the user from Assign other users and Assign distribution list as required.

Confirm the email recipients and click Next when you are ready.

    5. Review: View the various details set in the previous stages.

  6. When you're ready, click Deploy and activate to deploy the application in the account.

Repeat the steps above for each application as required.
