Manage and Monitor Audit Logs - Introduction

Every Action and Event in the system is logged for system management and monitoring purposes. Use the Audit page to search, filter, review, and export Audit Logs from your Communication Recording Agent system – go to Conversations and click the Audit tab in the menu at the top of the screen. Q: What are audit logs used for in the Communication Recording Agent system?
A: Audit logs track every action and event in the system for management and monitoring purposes. They're primarily used by system administrators to maintain oversight of system activities.
Q: How do I access the audit logs?
A: Go to Conversations and click the Audit tab in the menu at the top of the screen.
Q: What can I search for in the audit logs?
A: You can search for any details by typing in the Search box. You can also filter by date range, Event Status (Success/Failure), Event (Category), and Action Type.
Q: How do I export audit log records?
A: Select one or more records and click Export. For a single record, use the Export button in the Event Details panel. For multiple records, click Export in the top right and choose "Export Selected" or "Export All." Files are exported as .xlsx files.
Q: Is there anything I should be cautious about when exporting audit logs?
A: Yes, exported data is in an unencrypted, accessible format and should be treated as "uncontrolled". You may want to implement additional data protection measures for these files.
