Communication Recording Agent SIPREC Integration Guidelines

This topic provides a technical overview of the Communication Recording Agent integration for SIPREC and provides general installation/configuration details. The SIPREC Integration builds on the SIP Active integration by implementing a SIPREC SIP interpreter. This topic provides information specific to SIPREC with general SIP Active details as needed.

Version 1.1 of these guidelines includes the following general updates:

  • Layout and general flow updated to provide consistent approach for integration topics. No details have been changed that impact configuration.

Version 1.2 of these guidelines includes the following general updates:

  • Minor adjustments have been made throughout the topic to better align with the next generation of U-Capture.

  • Add/Remove Devices topic renamed to SIPREC Recording Control, information on Recording Control policies has been added to this topic, information on managing devices in U-Capture is no longer relevant and has therefore been removed.

Version 1.3 of these guidelines includes the following general updates:

  • The call metadata list has been updated to include a description for each metadata field.

  • Changes have been made throughout this topic to reflect that the Core Services are no-longer used to stream captured conversation data to the Audio Connector.

  • The Integration Adapter settings have been updated with new configuration fields.

Version 1.4 of these guidelines includes the following general updates:

  • U-Capture is now the Communication Recording Agent. This product name change has been made throughout the article, but may not be present in every aspect of the product at the time of reading.

Version 1.5 of these guidelines includes the following general updates:

  • SIP_RAM.ini configuration now includes the [SecureConnections]ClientVerificationMode setting to configure how the client certificate verification behaves.

  • The Database Field IDs table has been updated to include 323 - DBRE_SessionID.

  • A tip has been added to the Secure SIP section that calls out that SIP-related CAs belong in the /opt/uniphore/config/trustedcas file directory.
