Retention Period Configuration
For compliance with GDPR, the system requires a configurable retention period for any files, services, or logs that may contain Personal Identifiable Information (PII). The retention period on these files/services/logs will be 30 days or less unless the PII data is required for standard application operation.
It helps to permanently delete the U-Assist logs based on the retention period. An Administrator has the privilege to set the retention period, which is by default 30 days. The system automatically deletes the U-Assist logs older than the mentioned retention period at the scheduled time.
